Honey Barbecue Sauce

Honey Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup sweet pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 cup parsley, dried
  • 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1/2 tablespoon Louisiana hot sauce
 Directions:
  • Place all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, over very low heat for 2 to 3 hours.
