It’s hard to ignore a bottle of hot sauce with an intense hologram on its label. It’s even harder to over look it once your read the text (text that is set over silver, reflective skulls I might add) on the side of the bottle and its sweet nothings become imprinted in your brain: “Ever seen a ghost? One taste of Mad Dog 357 Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce and you will – your own!” This ghost pepper edition boasts a full, hearty flavor that tastes of pine and has a sweet smell that doesn’t overpower your dining experience. After tentatively dousing a baked sweet potato in the thick, syrupy sauce, my first coated bite revealed a serving of heat that was both immediate and all encompassing in flavor.
