Swamp Honky Chipotle Barbecue Sauce Review
Swamp Honky Chipotle Barbecue Sauce – Ketchup, honey, mustard, molasses, chipotle peppers, red wine vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, onions, brown sugar, liquid smoke, hot sauce, garlic, and a blend of spices combine in Swamp Honky Chipotle Barbecue Sauce to deliver a savory, smoky barbecue sauce that’s perfect for steaks, hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken. I don’t even bother to throw the meat on the grill. If I fry up a hamburger or cook a hot dog, this stuff goes right on the bun. If I broil a steak, I pour this stuff right on top. In fact, as a steak sauce, it’s pretty darn good.
I’m a fan of the chipotle. For those keeping score, a chipotle is a smoke-dried jalepeno, and believe me, they are good. Chipotle added to just about any sauce gives it an instant three stars by default. That’s reason number one why this Swamp Honky Chipotle Barbecue Sauce has a head start on a lot of other barbecue sauces. The second reason has to do with the way the ingredients work together. There’s not so much going on here that one flavor gets lost in the mix. Everything in this sauce has a purpose. Each ingredient belongs. That’s a big key to making a barbecue sauce worthy of a good cut of meat.
While I tried this sauce on several of my favorite food items, quite successfully, my all-time favorite use for this barbecue sauce happened on a Friday night. My wife had just picked up several fresh catfish. I don’t know how you feel about barbecued catfish, but trust and believe, it’s a mouth-watering dish. I eat it every chance I get. Squeeze a little lemon (okay, a lot of lemon) over some fresh catfish fillets and paint Swamp Honky Chipotle Barbecue Sauce liberally over each one, both sides, and jump on the bandwagon. You’ll want to keep Swamp Honky Chipotle Barbecue Sauce in stock for this reason alone.
