Super Hot Wing Sauce Recipe

For all of you die hard chicken wings fans, we know you like your wings Hot!  Some of you like them super hot so we came up with a recipe that will satisfy the burning desire for some delicious chicken wings with an easy to create Super Hot Wing Sauce Recipe

This recipe is used strictly for making hot and spicy chicken wings and trust us…it is hot!

Recipe:

12 oz. bottle red hot sauce
1/2 cup to 3/4 cup butter (not margarine)
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, minced or finely chopped
1 tablespoon mustard powder
2 Jalapeno peppers (seeds removed, finely chopped or minced)
1 Habanero pepper (seeds removed, finely chopped or minced)
1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons honey

In a large skillet saute the onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon of butter. Turn the heat up to medium and stir in the other ingredients one at a time in the order they are given in the recipe. Simmer mixture for 10 minutes on medium heat, turn down the heat to low and simmer for an additional 15-20 minutes. Let cool before using.  Tip: If you want the sauce smooth, after cooling, you can place it in a blender and give it a few whirls before using it or use an immersion blender if you have one.

Cook your wings by frying , baking or grilling and after they are removed from the heat toss them with a small amount the sauce in a large bowl.  You can sever them with the sauce on the side too. Delicious!
