Outta the Park Babeque Sauce Review
Insane Chicken.com has a barbeque sauce that’s “Outta the Park”
Well this is “Atomic Eh?” coming at you with a new product from Insane Chicken.com. This is the season for barbeque! (I know this because it’s ALWAYS THE SEASON TO BARBEQUE!) I brought some New York steaks to try out the “Outta the Park BBQ Sauce”.
They say that “It’s real, It’s good, It’s gone!”
Label: It is an ok label with a nice size 15 oz. bottle. They are proud that it is all-natural with no high fructose corn syrup. Personally I want to know how it tastes first, then if I choose to consume large quantities of it, I might consider the impact on my body! Food is a good thing. For example there is no such thing as a bad doughnut in my world! For someone that is concerned about the health impact I imagine it would be nice to know.
Smell and taste: When I open the bottle the sauce has a nice color. The first thing I smell is the brown sugar. It has kind of sweet smell. So I pulled my steaks off the grill. I only lightly seasoned them so that I might have a better idea of the sauce. I went to pour some out and I almost lost the whole content of the bottle. It’s not very thick and spread out on my cutting board to a very thin consistency. As I tasted some, the first thing I taste is ginger and brown sugar. Not really my choice for a barbeque sauce. No heat or spice that I could taste. My wife says there is some heat on the back end of the taste. She is a little more sensitive to it then I am.
Over all opinion: My wife likes the sauce. She says if you like Asian inspired flavors like ginger and a little heat and want to share it safely with your kids, here ya go! For me and the atomic scale it rates very low. Fortunately there is much more for me to consume at the Insane Chicken.com store. Well I need to finish my steak. This is “Atomic Eh?” asking you, “Is it Atomic?” Well, probably not, but it’s worth trying!
Keep it hot and keep it spicy!
Enjoy!
