An obvious choice for Melinda’s Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce is any of the traditional West Indies (Caribbean ) dishes, but any seafood item is perfect for this one. I tried it on roasted snapper, tilapia with lemon butter, and with lime-soaked shrimp in basil butter. The scotch bonnet is a friend of seafood. It’s a friend of mine too. It’s actually one of my favorite peppers, and when a sauce brings together a list of ingredients that highlights this beautiful pepper, so much the better. Besides the foods I mentioned above, Melinda’s Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce well with chicken and it makes a great addition to chip dips. I also use it in vegetables – corn especially.

If you’re a fan of the Scotty Bons, as these peppers are sometimes called, Melinda’s Scotch Bonnet is a finely tuned sauce that showcases the wonders of scotch bonnet to full potential.
