Joe Perry’s Mango Peach Tango Review

Joe Perry’s Mango Peach Tango Hot Sauce – I’m tempted to say that Joe Perry’s Rock Your World Mango Peach Tango Hot Sauce is as hot as his playing, but the truth is that I’m not the world’s biggest Aerosmith fan. In fact, I wish they’d just break up already without all the rehab drama. So I’m not going to make any musical comparisons and the only thing I’ll say about Joe Perry himself is that he makes a damned fine hot sauce.

The original Boneyard Brew flavor of Perry’s is a bit hotter than its follow-up, Mango Peach Tango, but I suppose that’s to be expected, considering the additional fruity flavors in this product. I will say, however, that Perry’s sauces are wonderfully all-natural, with real ingredients you can pronounce, and nothing extra that shouldn’t be there. The ingredients of Joe Perry’s Mango Peach Tango Hot Sauce are, in order: peaches, mango, vinegar, lime juice, red bell peppers, sugar, onions, habanero peppers, garlic, salt, and xantham gum.

The predominance of fruit over chile peppers accounts for the relatively milder taste (don’t be fooled, though: Mango Peach Tango has more than enough habanero to set your lips a-tingling). But it’s hard to argue with flavor this good. I use it often as a condiment, and more recently I’ve taken to using it as a sandwich sauce for roast turkey, grilled chicken, and steak sandwiches. It’s currently my favorite use of this sauce.

One thing I like about Perry’s sauces is that they come in handy bottles, making it easy to take it with you to restaurants, friends’ houses, or when you travel. There might not be much left when you return, assuming you’re a good sharer, but that’s OK—Perry warrants being a pantry staple, and Mango Peach Tango Hot Sauce should be one of your first choices when you want a lot of sweet flavor with a little hot fire underneath it.
