Insane Chicken Fire Roasted Habanero Hot Sauce Review

Insane Chicken, the retailer of so many fine sauces, has a sauce of their own. Insane Chicken’s Fire Roasted Habanero Hot Sauce ingredients include fire-roasted habaneros, vinegar, lime juice, onion, garlic, cane juice, and chili extract. The aroma of this sauce is extremely pleasing, sporting a gourmet characteristic that made my mouth water. The sauce itself is a medium pour and loaded with seeds and bits of the fire-roasted habanero.

The heat level of Insane Chicken’s Fire Roasted Habanero Hot Sauce is blistering. The first second after it hits your tongue, the full flavor of the habaneros is apparent, then the heat kicks in, spreading over your lips and tongue, down your throat, and straight to your belly. This is a flavorful kick in the ass. Any chili lover will dig it.

I tried it with fish and found it to be a perfect complement. The fish were done on the grill; Insane Chicken’s Fire Roasted Habanero Hot Sauce was in a dish with fresh limes cut and placed around the side. I squeezed the limes in periodically, rather than on my fish, and dipped my fish into the sauce. The fish happened to be catfish, but I have a feeling this sauce would work well with all types of fish as well as other seafoods.

For wings, I used  Insane Chicken’s Fire Roasted Habanero Hot Sauce and lots of butter. The butter balances out the heat and makes the sauce cling nicely to the wings. I served these wings with cheese garlic bread and cold beer. It was an awesome meal.

Insane Chicken’s Fire Roasted Habanero Hot Sauce also goes well in cheese dip and blends well with ketchup to give you something special to dip your fries in.

Despite the high heat level, Insane Chicken’s Fire Roasted Habanero Hot Sauce goes down smooth and leaves a flavorful aftermath that makes it a delight to eat. I have yet to quit experimenting with this sauce and expect it will find a home in a pot of my chili real soon.
