How to Pickle Jalapeno Peppers

Pickled Jalapeno Peppers make for a great condiment especially when serving Thai cuisine and they are often found served in Thailand or at Thai restaurants alongside noodle dishes.  In Mexico, they are enjoyed pickled with sliced carrots and a bit of onion.  They are a favorite of many cultures and a simple recipe for pickling them is often asked about.

Here is a quick and easy way that you can pickle your own jalapeno peppers and enjoy them whenever you want to at home.

Pickled Jalapeno Peppers

3 large Jalapeno Peppers, sliced
1/3 cup white vinegar
1 glass mason jar with lid

Place the sliced Jalapeno peppers into the glass mason jar and pour the white vinegar overtop of the peppers. Place lid on top tightly. Set the jar in a kitchen cabinet or pantry for at least a week before serving them. They should keep for several weeks but always do a smell test and taste test before ingesting them to be sure.

Instead of having to go the restaurant to enjoy your peppers, now you can make them at home and share them with friends and family.
