Hot Chicken Wing Dip
Ingredients:
- 3 chicken breasts–boneless skinless
- 1/2 bottle Franks RedHot Sauce or you could use Tapatio Hot Sauce
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 1/2 pkg large cream cheese; or more, if desire
- 1/4 cup Ranch Dressing
- Package of mozzarella cheese shreds – 2 cups
- Hot Sauce to taste – Some options are Mad Dog 357 Hot Sauce, Hottest Hot Sauce, Sriracha Hot Sauce or Dave’s Insanity Sauce
Directions:
- Saute the chicken breasts for 15 minutes in olive oil with spices of choice – Drain on paper towel
- Shred the chicken–You can use a little mini food processor, works great, but I just use a fork and a knife.
- Place the shredded chicken in a bowl and mix with the heated butter and hot sauce; then add 1/2 of the ranch dressing to mixture.
- You can add more or less butter to make it less or more hot, respectively.
- Add Hot Ssauce to taste – Anyone of these will add quite a bit of flavor Mad Dog 357 Hot Sauce, Hottest Hot Sauce, Sriracha Hot Sauce or Dave’s Insanity Sauce
- Spread the cream cheese on the bottom of a 2 qt baking dish; next spread the remaining half of the ranch dressing over the cream cheese
- Next, Add 1/2 or less of the mozzarella cheese once again spreading over the cream cheese and ranch dressing
- Pour chicken mixture on top – spreading evenly
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes; then add remaining mozzarella (you can use more or less or no mozzarella depending on how much cheese you like)
- Bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes until cheese bubbles. You are now ready to serve.
- Serve with pita bread, melba toast, crackers or chips.
