Georgia Peach and Vidalia Onion Hot Sauce Review

Georgia Peach and Vidalia Onion Hot Sauce is incredibly sweet. Georgia peaches and Vidalia onions make up the bulk of the flavor, with the onion kicking up the lead. Red chili puree, jalapeno peppers, and cayenne peppers provide the very minimal warm undertone of the sauce. If you’re looking for something hot enough to blow your mind, you won’t find it here. This is a sauce almost anyone can enjoy, providing they enjoy the taste of peach and onion.

The sauce has an extremely sweet scent and a beautiful red appearance. It pours nicely and has a texture made up primarily of minced onion you can actually bite into. I tried this sauce on plain corn totilla chips. It makes an awesome dipping sauce. The flavors make a plain corn chip something damn near gourmet.

You won’t be using Georgia Peach and Vidalia Onion Hot Sauce as a workhorse sauce. It won’t stand up against a pot of hearty chili or work as an addition to authentic Mexican foods, but it makes a perfect complement to shrimp, grilled fish, and fried clams. It also tastes great with oysters.

If you’re a breakfast person, pour a good helping of it on your scrambled eggs for a taste treat. I even enjoyed dipping my bacon in it. The kids have replaced the standard McDonald’s dipping sauce with this sauce as well, and I have to admit, it goes perfect with Chick McNuggets.

I had to know what sort of main dishes this would go with besides seafood, though. My wife has an excellent meatloaf recipe. She used Georgia Peach and Vidalia Onion Hot Sauce right in the initial mix. She uses onion in her original recipe. She cut back on the number of onions she used because of the intensity of onion in this sauce. It was the best meatloaf I’ve ever eaten.

The thing is, Georgia Peach and Vidalia Onion is a little like a southern girl, sweet and saucy. If you want a subtle sauce that the entire family will enjoy, bring Georgia Peach and Vidalia Onion Hot Sauce to your plantation.
