Fighting Cock Barbecue Sauce Review

Fighting Cock Barbecue Sauce – This one is made with a bourbon base. Bourbon is an alcohol that seems to have been made for barbecue sauce. It adds a smoothness to the mix that delivers on flavor. Fighting Cock Kentucky Bourbon Barbecue Sauce is bourbon-based barbecue sauce at the top of the heap.

Tomato sauce, hot sauce, garlic, onions, chili peppers, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, black pepper, anchovies, lemon powder, lemon oil, lemon juice, smoke flavoring, and habenero peppers all work with the smooth bourbon to create a barbecue sauce that will smack you upside the head.

Hot (the pepper additions see to that) and smoky, with a pleasing aftermath that will have you coming back for more. This is a beautiful sauce, pure and simple. The ingredients all play an important role in the presentation.

Not only is Fighting Cock Barbecue Sauce one of my favorite rib and meat sauces, I use it on chicken and pork steaks. The big treat, though, is soaking jumbo shrimp in Fighting Cock for a couple hours, then throwing them on the grill or making kabobs out of them, along with chunks of yellow, orange, and red peppers, a couple of fresh jalapenos, and some onions. Serve this up with a margarita and you’re in business.

It takes a lot to compete in the world of barbecue sauce. Adding a little bourbon to the mix takes you a long way, but you need something more than the booze. You need to combine good ingredients in such a way that everything you use plays a part in creating a distinguishing taste. That’s what happens with Fighting Cock Barbecue Sauce. Every ingredient is important to the mix. The sauce pours easily and clings to the food. The spices and bourbon come together to enhance the taste of the food, not cover it up.

Fighting Cock Barbecue Sauce is a masterpiece among barbecue sauces. Don’t let the Summer pass you by without throwing some jumbo shrimp on the grill.
