Fat Bastard Hawgwash BBQ Sauce Review

Fat Bastard Hawgwash BBQ Sauce – I expected a lot from this sauce before I opened the bottle. I’ve tried Fat Bastard Bear Bite Forest Fruit Hot Wild Berry and it was one of the most flavorful sauces I’ve ever used on barbecue. That led me to believe that Fat Bastard Hawgwash BBQ Sauce had to be just as good. I opened the bottle and poured a heaping spoonful to try. I wasn’t disappointed.

First of all, the creative packaging rocks. A piece of rope holds a piece of real soap around the neck of the bottle, going along with the Hawgwash theme. The soap smells good and is great for washing your hands while you’re preparing your barbecue feast.

Listed on the bottle are ten competitions this sauce has won. I won’t bother talking about them here, but needless to say, it’s no wonder this sauce has won so many awards. Let me say it again — there’s ten of them, all well deserved.

Tomato puree, brown sugar, corn syrup, smoke flavor, honey, mustard seed, dried onion, garlic, molasses, anchovies, and tamarind make up the bulk of this sauce, with some secret spices thrown in for good measure. The overall flavor personality is a savory, smooth, sweet-smoky taste that really makes you shiver with pleasure. Keeping your hands away from Fat Bastard Hawgwash BBQ Sauce while the barbecue ensues is difficult. It really does do everything a great barbecue sauce should do.

I tossed a little squirt of lemon juice in it for good measure. We had hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken breast. We soaked the meat in Fat Bastard Hawgwash BBQ Sauce and threw it on the grill. The smoke that wafted from that grill carried the luscious aroma of this sauce to torture the neighborhood. At least three more grills in the neighborhood were fired up because of the enticing presence of this barbecue sauce on my grill.

If you are a barbecue sauce aficionado, trust and believe that you will want to slap Fat Bastard Hawgwash BBQ Sauce on your meats and grill to your heart’s content.
