Dave’s Temporary Insanity Sauce Review
Dave’s Temporary Insanity Hot Sauce – As with all Dave’s hot sauces, this one extremely blistering. The word temporary in the title may lead you to believe the heat level is forgiving, but you would be wrong. There is nothing forgiving about the heat of this product. In fact, there is nothing even temporary about the heat level you’ll feel when give Dave’s Temporary Insanity Hot Sauce a try. This sauce will bring you to your knees on impact.
There’s a very simple list of ingredients here that consists of hot peppers, tomato paste, hot pepper extract, salt, cane vinegar, onions, and garlic. The flavors of this sauce, despite the extremity of the heat, come through loud and clear. The distinct taste of peppers are here, along with the subtle undertone of garlic and onion.
Using Dave’s Temporary Insanity Hot Sauce as anything other than an addition to food is not advisable. The heat is simply too intense. Dave’s Temporary Insanity is best suited to chili, soups and stews, mixed with other sauces (especially as a heat boost to barbecue sauces), and mixed into meatloaf or casseroles. I tried using it directly on burritos and found it to be almost too hot to enjoy, but during the cooking process, the sauce is transformed and delivers an awesome heat element, along with beautiful flavor.
If you’re a fan of Dave’s line of sauces, give Dave’s Temporary Insanity Hot Sauce a try. It’s extremely hot, extremely delicious, and not for those who are uninitiated to heat.
