Cowtown Barbecue Sauce – What isn’t good about Kansas City’s Cowtown BBQ sauce? My father-in-law is from Texas. He knows about barbecue and he has very specific tastes. He will not eat barbecue that doesn’t live up to a reputation as big as the state of Texas itself.

There’s Ketchup, white vinegar, brown sugar Worcestershire Sauce, ground mustard, black pepper, garlic, onions, and some cayenne to give it a little life. While the cayenne doesn’t push the heat level up too high, it does give this sauce a comfortable warmth and flavor characteristic that makes Kansas City’s the perfect companion for good quality meats. In fact, you only want to barbecue the best when you use Cowtown BBQ sauce. Anything less would be an insult to a sauce hand-crafted for steaks, ribs, pork, and chicken.
