For all of you die hard chicken wings fans, we know you like your wings Hot! Some of you like them super hot so we came up with a recipe that will satisfy the burning desire for some delicious chicken wings with an easy to create Super Hot Wing Sauce Recipe

This recipe is used strictly for making hot and spicy chicken wings and trust us…it is hot!

Recipe:

12 oz. bottle red hot sauce
1/2 cup to 3/4 cup butter (not margarine)
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, minced or finely chopped
1 tablespoon mustard powder
2 Jalapeno peppers (seeds removed, finely chopped or minced)
1 Habanero pepper (seeds removed, finely chopped or minced)
1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons honey

In a large skillet saute the onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon of butter. Turn the heat up to medium and stir in the other ingredients one at a time in the order they are given in the recipe. Simmer mixture for 10 minutes on medium heat, turn down the heat to low and simmer for an additional 15-20 minutes. Let cool before using. Tip: If you want the sauce smooth, after cooling, you can place it in a blender and give it a few whirls before using it or use an immersion blender if you have one.

Cook your wings by frying , baking or grilling and after they are removed from the heat toss them with a small amount the sauce in a large bowl. You can sever them with the sauce on the side too. Delicious!

Hot wings are a favorite around here and we love to mix it up a bit by using different sauces that are available in the store or by creating our own sauce mixture. Today we are thinking about some Sweet Hot Wings for the weekend and so we are going to share with you some recipes so you can make your own sweet hot wing sauce from a recipe or just grab a bottle from the store.

If you like it sweet, start with a good sauce like Bone Suckin BBQ Sauce in either regular or the Hot and it makes a great base to start. This is a nice sweet sauce that has honey, molasses and it is a very versatile sauce that you and the kids are going to love.
And if you like sweet, hot sticky wings, here is an easy recipe that you can throw together quickly.

Sweet Hot Wing Sauce Recipe

Coat your wings and drumettes in vegetable oil. Toss together salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Rub your wings with the spices. Place them in a raised baking dish and bake them at 400 for 30-40 minutes depending on the thickness. Use a higher heat if you want them crispier. Remove them from the heat.

Toss in a bowl with ½ cup of the Hot Sweet Sauce like Bone Suckin BBQ Sauce and 2 tablespoons of butter. You can then return the wings to the oven on a cookie sheet and broil them at 500 for a few minutes until the sauce gets thick and sticky. Make sure to watch the oven as the sugar in the sauce can burn.

There is nothing quite like that taste of fresh homemade hot wings. Making the sauce doesn’t have to be scary or hard. Here is a good tasting simple hot wing sauce recipe that you can make easily and in very little time. Why waste hours cooking?

4 tablespoons of your favorite hot sauce
2 tablespoons of Tabasco sauce
2 teaspoons cider vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 1/2 teaspoons ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
2 to 2 1/2 teaspoons crushed dried red pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

In a medium container mix together all of the above ingredients, stirring after each addition and going in the order that they are given in the recipe. Most of the ingredients above can be adjusted to suit your own taste buds. If you like it hotter and spicier you can increase the hot sauce and if you like it milder…than decrease it. Once combined place a lid on top of you container and refrigerate for 2 hours. Remove container from refrigerator and stir it up really good and place back into the refrigerator for another 2 hours.

Your sauce is now ready to be used as a marinade on any meat, fish or use it to baste chicken wings. Toss your wings right into the sauce after you pull them from the fryer or oven and you can get a delicious coating of the super simple hot wing sauce and they are ready to eat. Delicious!

We all love wings but sometimes that sugar content can really sneak up on us and steal precious calories. If you are watching your weight you want to purchase a low-calorie hot wing sauce or make your own at home with fresh ingredients. Here is a recipe that has approximately 25 calories per 1 ounce serving.

Wing Hot Sauce for Weight Loss Recipe

1 (8 ounce) bottle BBQ sauce
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons ground Chipotle peppers
juice from 1 fresh lemon
juice from 1 fresh lime
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

In a medium-sized mixing bowl combine together all of the above ingredients in the order that they are given in the recipe, stirring after each ingredient addition. If you like a more “milder” sauce then you can decrease the ground Chipotle peppers and if you like a “hotter” sauce then you can increase them. Once the sauce is mixed up you will need to refrigerate it for 4 hours to allow the flavors to infuse.

When you are ready to use it, brush it on your chicken wings to thoroughly coat both sides. You can then immediately place them onto a grill or into a baking dish to bake in a 350 degree F. oven until done approx. 20 minutes or so.

You don’t have to give up wings when you are on a low calorie diet. By baking or grilling the wings, you will be saving calories and by using a low calorie hot sauce for wings, you will be able to enjoy them any time.

When it comes to making Buffalo Wings at home there are 2 ways you can go about it and today we thought we would discuss both methods with you.

If you are a busy person and want a no fuss way to make homemade buffalo wings then you can purchase a variety of bottled (already prepared) barbecue sauces and marinate your chicken wings in the sauce for a few hours and then bake or grill them until done.

For those of you who have the time to cook and enjoy cooking you can make your own buffalo wing hot sauce at home and use that to marinade your chicken wings. One of the recipes we like to use is this spicy hot sauce recipe.

You will need:

12 chicken wings
1/2 cup white all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground Paprika
1/2 teaspoon table salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup butter (not margarine)
1/2 cup hot sauce (your favorite brand or home made)
1 clove of garlic, minced

In a large mixing bowl combine together the all-purpose flour, Cayenne pepper, ground Paprika, salt and ground black pepper. Pour mixture into a large plastic zipper closure bag and then place 2-3 chicken wings (at a time) into the bag and shake it up to thoroughly coat the wings. Take the wings out and place them in a single layer in a glass baking dish. Repeat until all chicken wings are coated and done.

Cover the baking dish and place into the refrigerator for 3-5 hours (or overnight). In a large saucepan combine together the butter, hot sauce and minced garlic and simmer on low for 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and pour mixture over the wings in the baking dish. Make sure you flip the wings over so that they get coated on both sides.

Place wings on a hot preheated grill and grill each side for 8-10 minutes or place the baking dish into a preheated 375 degree oven and bake for 30-45 minutes or until done. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce as a main dish or as an appetizer alone.

I your wnat to buy wing sauces InsaneChicken’s has a wide variety of Gourmet Wing Sauces. Hot wings are fairly easy to make and with a great recipe you can become the star at your next football party you host. Simple to eat and simple to make, having a signature recipe of your own is a great way to feed a crowd for not a lot of money. Here is a great Hot Wing Sauce recipe that you can tweak to make your own!

12 large chicken wings
3 tablespoons butter, melted (not margarine)
3 tablespoons hot sauce
2 teaspoons ground Paprika
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

If necessary, cut apart your chicken wings at the joint and place into a marinating container. Discard wing tips. In a large mixing bowl combine together all of the rest of the ingredients in the order they are given in the recipe until well combined. Pour the sauce over top of the chicken wings and place lid on top of your marinating container. Shake the container up so that you coat all wings evenly with the sauce. Refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight.

You can bake your hot wings in a 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes or place them onto a hot preheated grill and grill each side for 7 minutes or until done. Serve with your favorite Blue Cheese or Ranch Style Dressing or you can add a side of additional dipping sauce for those that love their wings HOT.

Experiment with your recipe to find the perfect balance of heat and taste for you and your crowd. You can add things like parmesan cheese on the side, garlic powder or even some lemon pepper to add some different flavors to your wings. Your taste buds will be happy with this great Hot Wing Sauce Recipe.
