If you don’t want to make a homemade black pepper sauce you can find bottled sauce sold by a variety of companies usually found in Asian food stores.
Homemade Black Pepper Sauce Recipe:
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
1-2 teaspoons corn starch
1/4 cup water
(Recipe ingredients can be doubled if you need a large amount)
In a small mixing bowl mix together the corn starch with the water and set aside. In a medium sized saucepan combine together the ground black pepper, soy sauce with the sugar. Turn burner onto low heat and pour in the corn starch mixture. Continue to simmer over low heat, stirring often until the mixture thickens up. Once it has it is ready to use as a stir fry sauce.
This particular sauce is low on the spice factor, but you could add some delicious chili oil or a red chili pepper minced in to add some additional spice to the dish, if you desire.
