BBQ’N Fools Signature Seasoning Review

BBQ’N Fools Signature Seasoning- This is a spicy seasoning useful as a rub and especially good in soups and chili. The basics of the mix include salt, paprika, red bell peppers, green onions, onions, garlic, and an assortment of spices that give BBQ’N Fools Signature Seasoning it’s pleasing personality. Since BBQ’N Fools makes a great tasting BBQ’N Fools barbecue sauce, I wasn’t surprised the seasoning measured up.

While I did try it on steaks in the broiler and pork steaks on the grill, my big surprise came when I used it to season a bowl of chili. It’s a great replacement for salt and pepper at the dinner table. I use it on beef stew, in clam chowder, and on my fried eggs. It sits right in the center of my table, ready to be used on anything I might consider seasoning up.

Rubs are nice. If you use a good barbecue sauce and a rub that accents the taste of the sauce, you’ll find yourself in for a good treat. BBQ’N Fools Signature Seasoning is the right kind of rub for this situation. The garlic comes through pretty strong, the blend of spices provide a slight kick, and some of the dried ingredients are cut to provide a nice texture to the meat. It also adds texture to other foods, so it’s absolutely a pleasure to use.

I couldn’t resist trying this one on a turkey roll. Don’t laugh. If you grill a turkey roll, it actually tastes pretty good. I typically stuff them with herbs from the garden and a lemon-based marinade. This time, however, I rubbed some of BBQ’N Fools Signature Seasoning on and added a layer of the BBQ’N Fools barbecue sauce to see what the combination would do to the turkey. I loved it, my boys ate it the turkey roll for the first time, and my wife loved it too.

If you’re big on seasoning, grab some of BBQ’N Fools Signature Seasoning to keep on the kitchen table. You’ll find yourself using it more than you imagine.
