  • 1 cup prepared mustard
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Mango Habanero Hot Sauce Recipe


  • 2 Tbls peanut oil
  • 8 Ripe mangoes peeled and cut into large dice
  • 1/2 cup diced white onion
  • 1/2 cup diced carrot
  • 2 Fresh habanero Chiles Seeded and cut into quarters

Using Peppers with Rice

Some things seem to go together naturally; chips and salsa, cookies and milk, eggs and bacon.  Rice and peppers was not one that was at the top of my “gotta have it” list until I ran across a few recipes that blended rice, peppers and cheese into a delightful, delicious dish.  Being the curious cook that I am, I knew I had to try it.

Did you know that the weird red stuff in the middle of your olive is really a pepper?  Also known as pimento peppers, cherry peppers are heart-shaped and are a good size pepper, measuring about two to three inches long and about three inches wide.
